Junior designer – position filled

We are looking for a full time junior designer. The ideal candidate would be either College or University educated with a keen interest and passion for all things related to design. Any commercial or freelance experience would be beneficial but not essential. 95% of the work we do is digital, but we’re looking for a skilled individual that has the ability to think creatively and has a strong eye for design.

Junior PHP programmer / web developer – position filled

We are looking for a full time junior PHP programmer, with knowledge of XHTML, CSS, MySQL and XML. Any experience in the SEO industry or complimentary skills are a bonus. This will initially be a learning role directly supervised by our lead developer. Salary based on experience between £16,000 – £18,000 pa.

Junior Search Exec – position filled

We are looking for a full time junior search executive. The ideal candidate would have at least 6-12 months experience working as either a junior search exec or an account exec. This is a great opportunity to work with a varied range of clients in a growing Manchester SEO company. Full training will be supplied. Salary will be based on experience.

Junior PHP programmer / web developer – position filled

We are looking for a full time junior PHP web developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some commercial experience, have examples of sites they have worked on, and will be able to demonstrate their basic web development skills through a simple test. Ideally the candidate would be degree level qualified but this is not essential. This is a great position for a young developer as it is a learning role with plenty of opportunities. We also offer flexible working hours, with the potential to work from home on certain days. Salary is competive and based on experience.
Required skills:
- PHP
- XHTML, CSS, XML
- Understanding / experience using MySQL
- Working knowledge of JavaScript
- Working knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop
Desirable but not essential (training will be provided):
- SEO experience, or basic understanding of SEO
- Experience with WordPress
- Experience with OSCommerce, PHPBB, Magento and other OpenSource platforms
- Experience with the Zend framework
- Experience with jQuery
Day to day projects you will be working on include:
- WordPress websites, blog integration and optimisation
- Magento Ecommerce development and optimisation
- Search Engine Optimisation of static website
- Creating basic contact / registration forms
- Basic on-page SEO analysis
- Development of websites based on design files (provided as Photoshop PSD files)
